A new takeaway restaurant has opened in the town centre.
Turkish restaurant Watford BBQ started selling its first kebabs in Market Street, Watford, on Friday (March 24).
It boasts a “lavish and delicious menu” including kebabs, chicken, burgers and nuggets “from fast food to proper meals”.

Most of the standard kebabs and wraps cost around £7 to £9 and veggie options are also available at similar prices.
Owner Namak Haliliov said: “We are very happy to open in Watford, near the town centre, and we are going to try and serve the best food in town.”
Watford BBQ is open seven days a week from 12pm to 9.30pm.
The 34-year-old, who has lived in Watford since 2020, added the restaurant also offers delivery through Uber Eats, Deliveroo, and its own app “to cater for you right at your home”.

The location was previously home to takeaway Shaorma Ca Acasa/Afghan Flavour.
The restaurant website adds: “Do you feel like ordering in? Are you too tired to dress up and go out for dinner?
“Well, there is no problem at all because Watford BBQ is here to cater for you right at your home.”
