A chain opened its second Watford location earlier this month, in the former Meat and Shake unit.
Chaiiwala - a café that offers Indian beverages, an all-day Indian breakfast, and varied street food shared a tour and some inside photos after taking over the atria Watford spot on March 8.
It follows a Chaiiwala Express branch which had already opened at the Esso Garage in the A405 Kingsway North Orbital Road, on October 14, 2022.

In a post on Instagram, the chain said: “Watford we’ve arrived. After a highly anticipated wait, we’re happy to announce that our doors are officially open.”
The unit (177b) is in the High Street, next to Boutique One, and marks Chaiiwala’s 82nd location.

Just before the start of 2021, the franchise said that growth in demand for delivery services during the pandemic had pushed forward its expansion plans, and it has since introduced many new branches across the UK.
After being asked whether there is any upstairs seating for the location, atria Watford responded “not currently - but watch this space”.
The new branch is open from 8.30am to 12am every day.
