A woman was left star-struck when she met one of ITV’s 'chasers' during an evening shopping trip.
Chloe Alder, 22, was in Sainsbury’s at The Dome roundabout at about 7pm on March 13 when she spotted who she thought could be Anne Hegerty from The Chase.
The Watford woman, who works as a child minder and children’s entertainer, said: “It was a crazy, star-struck moment.
“I was in shock. She is my favourite chaser and when I first saw her, I was like, ‘no way’.”
Chloe eventually plucked up the courage to ask if it was indeed Anne Hegerty to which she got a resounding yes.

She said: “I didn’t want to overstep the mark because I know she has autism, but she was fine with me asking.”
But it wasn’t Chloe who suggested the selfie.
“I was like, oh my gosh, my nan is not going to believe this.
“Anne said, ‘do you want to take a selfie to prove it?’.”
Chloe described Anne as “approachable, really warm and not at all intimidating like she is on the show”.
Before going their separate ways, the two had a quick chat about The Chase, and Anne’s appearance on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
