A Brazilian and Portuguese restaurant has been slapped with a 1/5 food hygiene rating for the fifth time since 2014.
In 2021, following an inspection on May 4 of that year, the Watford Observer reported that Brazuca Bar in Whippendel Road had been given a ‘one’ four times.
It was then inspected again on February 2 this year, before another 1/5 rating was published on March 10.
- Restaurant given second worst possible hygiene rating for fourth time in six years
- Town centre restaurant hit with 1/5 food hygiene rating
- Plan submitted to turn former High Street restaurant into flats
The bar also received the score eight years ago while trading as Melo Café.
In January 2017, while still trading as Melo Café, it was rated 2/5, but fell back down to a 1/5 in July 2018 when trading as O Brazuca.
