Local town Rickmansworth has been named as a contender for the best place to live in Hertfordshire as part of a Muddy Stilettos competition.
The competition aims to show areas outside of London some love, as the site writes: "show your local area some love, with each county winner entered into the national finals to be crowned the hottest postcode outside London."
Breaking the voting down into regions, Hertfordshire sees areas including St Albans, Radlett, Tring and Rickmansworth to name a few.
Muddy Stilettos describes the county as filled with "Charming villages, rolling fields and towns packed with cool restaurants and independents."
Voters also get a chance to win a big prize for having their say, with the chance to win a £500 voucher to spend at John Lewis.
Rickmansworth is in the running to be named best place to live
This historic town of Rickmansworth is said to be a commuter's dream, with its natural surrounding and its links to the London Underground.
The site shares that the town is in the runner thanks to its "thriving high street, great pubs, tip-top local schools, plus tonnes of green spaces and waterways to explore."
Local restaurants give it some extra praise, seeing popular Italian restaurant Zaza mentioned along with pubs The Feather and Artichoke on the Green.
Muddy Stilettos also shares that the average house price in Rickmansworth is £731,707 with detached properties reaching £1.1 million.
