A cash prize of £500 is up for grabs in a classical music competition for young people.
On March 18, the Rickmansworth Young Musician of the Year final will be held at the Reach Free School at 2pm.
Adult tickets cost £10 in advance or £12 on the door. Tickets for under 19s cost £5.

Judges have whittled 23 entrants down to eight finalists who will perform two classical pieces each on the day.
Alan Baskeyfield, who is a joint organiser of the event, which is being ran by Chorleywood Music, said: “We have an extremely high standard of talent this year, as we do every year.”
Entrants are all aged 19 and under, from schools in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire, and had to have reached grade 7 in music to enter.

Mr Baskeyfield said: “When you hear them play it is moving and spectacular.
“They play with a lot of force.”
A total of £500 will be awarded to the winner, second place will receive £250 and third place will be given £125.
The event, which has been held annually since 1983, will also have a special visit from last year’s winner, Sofiia Matviienko from Ukraine who played the flute.
She will also present this year’s prizes.
