TK Maxx says it has been “working round the clock” to get its new Watford store ready ahead of its summer opening.
The retailer, which offers clothing, accessories, homeware and beauty products, confirmed on January 26 that it will move into the former Next unit opposite M&S in atria Watford.
It follows Next previously merging its stores in the former Debenhams unit to have its offerings under one roof.

Providing an update on the progress today (February 23), a TK Maxx spokesperson said: “We chose Watford as our European home almost 30 years ago, so we know the town’s savvy shoppers love big brands and great style.
“We’ve been working round the clock to secure a fabulous new location in the heart of the town.”

However, the retailer remained tight-lipped when pushed for more on when we can expect an opening date.
“We can’t say much more yet,” the spokesperson said.
Atria Watford had previously confirmed it is set to open sometime in the summer.
TK Maxx, which has its headquarters in Clarendon Road, has signed a 10-year lease on the unit.
