Channel 5 documentary World’s Most Expensive All You Can Eat Buffet has shone a light on a “hidden gem” restaurant.
The Glasshouse, at The Grove Hotel, featured on Channel 5 from 8pm to 9pm on December 29 as food critic Grace Dent sought the most luxurious buffets in the world.
The programme took her as far as Las Vegas, but she described The Grove as a “hidden gem” adding “when I heard there was a luxury buffet not far from my home I had to go as soon as possible”.
Grace sampled the "delicious" food and spoke with executive chef Maarten Geschwindt about the hotel’s approach to reducing waste and making sure the available food is replenished.
Dinner at the restaurant costs £56 per person from Monday to Thursday and £75 from Friday to Sunday.
