Staff at a new Mediterranean-Turkish restaurant are “excited to be part of the community” as it opens today.
La Banq, in Abbots Langley High Street, will be offering dishes by chefs from top restaurants alongside "fresh and fruity" cocktails from 5pm today (December 19).
A local commented on Facebook that the restaurant looks set to “liven up the High Street” with others adding that they “can’t wait to try it” and “hope it’s well supported by the village”.

Owner Sav Tekan said: “We are ready to open for all the public.
“The chefs are all from top restaurants in London and we hope we can fit into the community.
In a post on Facebook, he added: “We are delighted to announce we will be opening our doors on Monday 19th December.
“We are so thankful to each and every one of you who have supported us and been with us every step of the way. We hope you enjoy the La Banq experience.”
After the soft launch from 5pm today, the restaurant, in the former Barclays bank building, will move to its regular opening hours of midday to midnight seven days a week.
