The borough council has now told the Watford Observer that filming for Cunch has been taking place in the road and other parts of the area for "a couple of weeks".
Described as “an independent drama feature”, a casting call for the film includes the roles of a corrupt detective, a number of criminals involved in drug crime and gangs, and the mother of another criminal named JB (who appears to be the main character).
The production company is listed as Three Pillars Productions, with Makeda Stair listed as the filmmaker.
‘Going cunch’ or ‘going country’ refers to distributing drugs to a rural area, used within county lines gangs.
