A spokesperson for the chain said: "This store has employed six new team members who are ready to serve busy on-the-go customers their favourite crafted Costa coffee or sweet and savoury treat.
"We look forward to welcoming customers to the new store.”
It is believed the new shop is takeaway-only but Costa has been contacted for confirmation.
AMT Coffee had reportedly been hit hard by lockdown as its revenues fell dramatically.
