A third Pepe’s Piri Piri takeaway looks set to open in Watford after two planning applications were submitted.
Proposals to install a rear vent and repaint a shopfront in St Albans Road were published by Watford Borough Council on November 29.
Plans were also submitted for illuminated signs at the same address, 150 St Albans Road, near Christ Church, Watford.

The proposed sign shows the Pepe’s logo while the shopfront is set to be painted the brand’s distinctive colour.
The fast-food business opened its Whippendell Road shop in 2007 before expanding across the country, and has since opened another in Watford High Street.
The new plans suggest a third is on the way, but they are still pending consideration.
A Herts Highways comment included in the application concludes that the proposed signs “would not give rise to an unreasonable impact on the safety and operation of the surrounding highway network”.
Pepe’s Piri Piri has been approached for confirmation.
