The future of an 18th century pub has been secured after new landlords were confirmed to be taking over.
Greene King has said a new partner has been found to take over The White Horse in Chorleywood “in the new year”.
Once they are in place, they are set to provide an update on their plans for the pub, which was built in 1722.

The couple who currently run The White Horse, Richie and Lisa, announced on Facebook in August that they had handed in their six months’ notice, saying the business had not recovered from the Covid pandemic.
At the start of last month, they said the pub would “unfortunately” be winding down to only open on weekends, which a pubgoer described as the “end of an era”.
The brewery had not guaranteed what would happen to the pub if a replacement partner was not found within six months, but it appears regulars can rest easy with a new partner already in place.
