An up-and-coming singer-songwriter recalled her “insane” experience performing with Swedish House Mafia at The O2 Arena.
Connie Constance performed with the house music supergroup on October 2 to 20,000 people.
The 27-year-old from Abbots Langley took to the stage with the trio to perform their song Heaven Takes You Home.

Connie said: “They hit me up to come and perform with them for their London show – the first one in ten years.
“It was insane, a dream come true to my inner child.
“Being on stage with artists that huge was weird.
“It’s so mad to feel on the same level as them, while all the time you are so far away as an upcoming artist.
“At that time, people are seeing me as their equal rather than little Connie sat in the corner making music.”
Co-written by Connie and Swedish House Mafia the song was recorded in 2019 but only released this year.
The collaboration came about when Connie was introduced to the band by a mutual friend in LA.
Connie said: “They were so lovely; they are family men who were coming back together to make an album.”
As the saying goes, never meet your idols because they might disappoint you, but luckily for Connie that never happened.
She said: “They do not have any ego. They celebrate the people they work with.”
It seems that Connie’s talents go beyond singing.
When Swedish House Mafia wanted a music video for the song, she was called to direct it.
She said: “It was the second video I directed.
“It was nice to have a big budget and capture something beautiful with my friends.”
Connie, who won a scholarship for Songtime Theatre Arts in 2007 that was funded by the Watford Observer, now has her own album set to be released.
She said: “The inspiration behind the whole album is very much about empowerment. I wrote it when I needed to be uplifted.
“It is there to help people find strength in vulnerability in their life.”
The album, Miss Power, is due to be released on November 4.
