The site of a much-loved park café is now on the market as the search for a new operator begins.
Cha Café in Cassiobury Park closed its doors on August 31 when owners Brian and Mandy Evans retired.
The 1,643 square foot building, roughly the size of a badminton court, is being marketed by chartered surveyors Perry Holt, on behalf of Watford Borough Council, at £1,333 per month or £9.74 per square foot.

It also includes two allocated parking spaces and an “extensive” outside space for customers.
A term of the listing is that the toilets must be made available to parkgoers even if they are not customers.
Further details are available from Perry Holt on request.
With no new tenant in place, the historic Tea Pavilion building will remain out of use until one can be found.
The former owners, customers, and council have all said they hope the “wonderful” café can remain as a community-focused operation.
The Watford Observer has been told it would be “reasonable” to expect a new business to move in early next year.
