The Voice singer Clare Cordell has said she is “forever grateful” for her “life changing” experience on the ITV show and fans' support.
The Watford-born artist, 32, wowed the judges with her audition last month and was picked out as a “gem that could win the show” by Olly Murs.
Despite not making it through to the semi-finals over the weekend, Ms Cordell explained how “amazing” her experience was.

The former Parkgate Junior School pupil said: “The audition was my proudest moment. I loved singing that song, it is one of my favourite songs ever.
“It’s been life changing in terms of the experience and the people I’ve met and other exciting things I’m going to be doing that I can’t tell you about yet.
“Working with the band and the vocal coaches was unreal and of course working with Tom Jones is something I’m never going to forget.
“We’ve got a big group chat with all the contestants, and we are really supporting the ones who are still going.”

The singer explained that contestants from this year’s edition of the ITV show are now planning a series of gigs together, adding “you will be seeing a lot more of us”.
On top of that Ms Cordell is already planning to record a new single next week and will be turning on the Watford Christmas lights.
Since the audition aired, she has received an "outpouring of love and support", especially in Watford.
“The response from everyone has been amazing. I’ve had some really nice messages.
“I’ve even had messages from people saying they saw me singing and being myself and that that’s given them self-confidence. It feels like some really good things have come out of it.
“The support I’ve been getting around Watford has been especially great.
"People around the town have noticed me, especially Uber drivers who all seem to watch the show.
“Even when I was getting my gall bladder removed at Watford General the nurse said, ‘I saw you on The Voice you were great’. I was partly under the anaesthetic, so I was just like ‘thanks’, but it was really nice."
