Heineken is looking for new owners to take over a completely rebranded and refurbished Watford pub.
The Oddfellows, in Fearnley Street, is the site of an “extensive” planned refurbishment to become a “friendly and modern pub”, which would include renaming the pub to ‘The Hornets’.
Anyone can apply to take over the pub, but prospective tenants would need to pay estimated minimum ingoing costs of £40,510.

The listing, by Heineken subsidiary Star Pubs and Bars, says: “We will install outdoor seating in the beer garden with a retractable roof, outdoor soft play area, kitchen facilities and an open bar floor ideal for all varieties of trade.
"This is a pub with great potential, all we’re missing is the right person to drive it forward.
“So, could that be you?”
The annual rent is £44,236, with the company estimating annual turnover of £608,791, and profit of £52,484 for the tenants.
All applicants are required to have a minimum of £10,000 un-borrowed funds.
Costs are caluculated on the assumption the pub will be let on a rolling tenancy or business start-up agreement, where the Star Pubs and Bars would own the majority of the fixtures and fittings.
