A revised plan to combine two high street businesses into a larger kebab shop has been submitted.
A planning application to knock through a wall and combine Woody Express with the closed Ego Hair Design next door was submitted to Watford Borough Council on Wednesday, August 24.
The proposal would unify the two properties into a single restaurant and takeaway and match the signage and colour outside the two units.

A previous design was rejected by the council in April due to a lack of detail.
The decision also said: “The replacement of a characteristic timber shopfront with and uncharacteristic aluminium shopfront and the installation of box signage above the façade would harm the character and appearance of the property.”
The revised shopfront will retain the timber shopfront from Ego Hair Design and paint the existing Woody Express front black to match.
The planning statement added: “The combination of the two properties into a single restaurant and hot food take away was not raised as a reason for refusal of the previous applications.”
