A popular Watford fish and chip shop will be selling all food half price on the first day of its official reopening.
On August 8 Meriden Fish Bar will open its doors for the first time since it closed in April 2021.
It will be the first time the takeaway will be serving from its new premises in York Way, Meriden.

The fish and chip shop had to move from its old location as part of the Meriden Regeneration Project.
A new shopping parade has also been introduced to the area.
Co-owner Donald Langford said he was happy to be reopening the shop.
He said: “I’ve missed so many customers. I do see a couple here and there.
“There are some real characters that I’ve missed. It will be nice to see them back in the shop.
“We were a massive part of the community, we were the hub of the community.”
He added he hopes his shop will be different to others in the area.
Mr Langford said: “I think I try to be different to all the norms. Nowadays wherever you go, it’s the same long piece of tail cod.
“I believe we are one of the few fish and chip shops in Hertfordshire that sells fresh fish.”
Mr Langford said gluten free options will also be brought back on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays because it proved popular with customers in the past.
He said: “I started doing it for my wife, but then we had people coming from 10 miles to buy our food.
“I even had the Celiac Society in touch with me, it was fantastic.
“The good thing is that someone can come in and buy one gluten free option and the rest of the family can buy the other options.”
Halal options will also be served at the shop.
The fish bar was initially expected to reopen in October 2021, but due to a series of refurbishment setbacks it was delayed.
To help with the renovation and the costs, Ferhat Cicek became a co-owner of the shop with Mr Langford.
The shop will open from 11.30am to 9.30pm.
