An Indian restaurant in Croxley Green has redeemed itself after hygiene inspectors found early indications of pests.
Standard Tandoori Restaurant was previously given a 0/5 rating and told “urgent improvement” was needed during a February 10 assessment.
There were 22 areas of concern in a report, which found the equipment to be “very dirty” and utensils “greasy and sticky to touch”.

Now the restaurant has jumped to a 5/5 rating and has been declared "very good" after a visit on June 7.
Three Rivers District Council had previously said progress was being made.
The Watford Observer has been logging inspections on a monthly basis so that readers can stay up-to-date with which spots have been inspected.
Five is top of the scale, meaning the hygiene standards are very good and fully comply with the law, and zero is at the bottom of the scale, meaning urgent improvement is necessary.
