A Watford town centre pub is opening a new beer garden big enough to seat an extra 150 people.
The Moon Under Water in High Street will open the new outdoor space at 8am on Friday, June 24.
Watford-based JD Wetherspoon, which opened the pub in December 1994, has spent £200,000 extending and refurbishing the existing beer garden, creating 10 new jobs.

Pub manager Kwame Tefe said: “The Moon Under Water is an extremely popular pub.
“We aim to offer customers the best pub possible – and the new-look extended beer garden is a great addition.
“This investment highlights the company’s commitment to the pub and to Watford itself.”
The new-look paved garden features new garden dining furniture, outdoor lighting and planters with shrubs and trees, as well as an internal lobby at the back of the pub.
It was made possible by redevelopment of the pub delivery yard and refuse area, which has doubled the size of the original outdoor space.
