To honour the occasion, The Chorleywood Bookshop is holding a week of events that will host literary stars including novelist Clare Pooley, writer and broadcaster Melvyn Bragg and author, broadcaster and Church of England vicar the Reverend Richard Coles.
Sheryl Shurville, co-owner of the Chorleywood and Gerrards Cross Bookshops, said: “This is an exciting milestone for us, representing a testament to our wonderfully supportive community and our willingness to adapt and evolve within an ever-changing marketplace.
“Our aim is to be the best at everything we do, using our passion and skill to inspire the readers of today and tomorrow, connecting authors and their potential audiences within the local community and beyond.”
