Chipotle has confirmed when it will be opening the doors to its new restaurant in Watford.
The Mexican chain’s branch in High Street, which has created 20 new jobs, will be the first in the UK outside of London.
It will officially open on June 30 becoming the 12th location in the country.
Chipotle serves a range of Mexican Grill items including burritos, tacos, bowls and salads which are made to order in front of the customer.
On opening day, staff will be giving away free guacamole with any purchase of a regular-priced main course.
Chipotle's director of European operations, Jacob Sumner, said: “We are thrilled to introduce our craveable Food with Integrity to the Watford community.
“The new location will also bring additional career opportunities to these areas for residents interested in Cultivating a Better World through real food.”
US-based Chipotle has moved into the High Street unit that was formerly The Entertainer – next door to Five Guys – and opposite the Atria Watford shopping centre extension.
The branch will be open daily from 11am until 11pm.
