People came together to dance, sing and picnic as Abbots Langley held its very own Jubilee celebrations.
To round off the event, the village lit a Jubilee Beacon at 9.45pm, one of 3,000 that was lit across the UK and the Commonwealth.
Now the beacon will become a permanent installation at Manor House as a tribute to the historic milestone and for use at other official events.

The event, which ran from 2pm to 10.30pm, had a Strawberry Tea hosted by Friends of St Lawrence Church.
Live music and entertainment came from DJ Mark Cooper, George Clift, Hayley, Keris Lea and the Space Cowboys.
The parish council also funded hundreds of official Jubilee decorations, made by the Royal British Legion, on lamp posts throughout the parish as well as bunting at key sites from Primrose Hill to Bedmond.
Council chairman Cllr Stephen Giles-Medhurst said: “I’ve loved seeing the community come together to celebrate this once in a lifetime event.
“It was especially important that we enabled families to turn up with all generations, and in some cases their dogs, to enjoy the events with a picnic in Manor House grounds.
“The day truly exceeded our expectations. It was an inclusive event and great fun.
“The community has certainly celebrated the Queen's Platinum Jubilee in style and with great respect.
“I received so many positive comments on the day and its clear it was a great success that has brought local community together.”
County councillor Sara Bedford, whose locality budget funding made the beacon possible, said: “I want to give a huge heartfelt thank you to everyone involved and to the people of Abbots Langley who came out in huge numbers to celebrate.
"It was a great event enjoyed by all.”
The event was helped funded by the parish council and Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden.
Simcross Welding Services built the beacon and MJS pave and Abbot’s Heating and Plumbing installed the beacon free of charge.
