As Watford prepares to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, the Watford Observer is again teaming up with its friends at Watford Museum to celebrate our history.
We’d love to see your photographs and hear about your memories of the Coronation or the various Jubilee celebrations in Watford since.
Are you old enough to remember the Queen’s Coronation on June 2, 1953? How did you celebrate the occasion and what are your memories of that special day?

Did you throw or join in a street party to mark the Silver Jubilee in 1977, the Golden Jubilee in 2002 and, most recently, the Diamond Jubilee in 2012? Do you have any photos of those celebrations? Please share them with us.
Or perhaps your job meant you were involved in one of the special national events that took place? It would be great to hear your story.

You can get in touch with your photos and memories via the link at the bottom of this page.
Any material you submit will be shared with the museum’s digital archive and may be published online and/or in print in the Watford Observer.
