An Italian restaurant in a historic Watford building has reopened after a refurbishment.
Pizza Express in High Street, Watford, has been closed since the end of April for renovation.
The makeover was designed to give the restaurant, in a historic timber-framed building, a more rustic Italian look.
It also puts the kitchen in the centre of the restaurant where customers can see food preparation.

Watford branch manager Pablo Gimenez said: “Our pizzeria has had a full, stylish makeover and we’re excited to welcome our pizza fans back to our vibrant restaurant.
“With the kitchen at the heart of the pizzeria, customers can watch our talented pizzaiolos freshly handmake their order and we can’t wait to see the look on their faces when they visit.”
