It may just be another day for people living near the studios in Leavesden, but residents have been alerted to a shoot taking place tonight (April 20).

According to a notice there could be small distractions in the area during the filming at the studio backlot near Gypsy Lane footpath.

Residents were told it will involve high level film lighting, use of controlled SFX involving atmos and general production filming noise.

While Warner Bros Studios says it cannot reveal the project taking place, there is a possibility it could be the continued filming of the live-action Barbie film – which stars Margot Robbie as the lead role.

Many big names have been tied to the project that will be directed by Greta Gerwig.

Filming for Barbie first started in late March at Leavesden and it is understood the movie will launch worldwide sometime in 2023.
