Watford's best beer gardens:
Southern Cross
Rating: 4/5
Where: 41-43 Langley Road, Watford WD17 4PP England
"I went to the southern cross for a drink and a bit to eat and was made to feel completely at home by the amazing team but especially Kerry behind the bar nothing was too much trouble and made me laugh the whole time I was there. Highly recommended a visit even if it’s for the banter from Kerry. Thank you and I have myself a new local."
The Horns
Rating: 4/5
Where: 1 Hempstead Road, Watford WD17 3RL England
"The Horns Pub is the number 1 place in Watford , when it comes to live music. Lots of bands everyday and great attentive staff behind the bar. Even the security guards are very friendly which is a plus. There is a smoking terrace outside and they do accept Credit Cards."
The Prince George
Rating: 4.5/5
Where: 151 St. Albans Road, Watford WD24 5BB England
"The place is very clean and nicely decorated. It was a hot day so we decided to sit in the small pub garden. It was very pleasant. It’s in a very built up area, so an added bonus they have a beer garden. The food was excellent. We all had beef or chicken burgers and they were cooked to perfection. Great onion rings! Lots of great beers, Moretti on tap, plus they sell a good NZ Sauvignon by the glass. The staff was so pleasant and helpful."
The Round Bush
Rating: 4/5
Where: Roundbush Lane Aldenham, Watford WD25 8BG England
"Classic village pub ! A warm welcome from the knowledgeable friendly staff. There's a wide selection of beers and ciders ( and they do a wonderful pimms !! ). We ate a few times recently in the large garden from a varied menu. Generous portions too!"
