We have again dipped into the Watford Observer’s online archive and here are 12 pictures for you to enjoy that were captured by our photographers in 1990.
Demonstrations feature prominently in these images from January to March of that year, with an ambulance rally and a poll tax march in the town centre.
There are also memories of the popular Blue Cross sale at Clements and a pancake race in the town centre, while Jerry Hall brought some glamour to the Palace Theatre.
