February half-term is here and with it brings the question of 'what are we going to do with the kids this week?'
Many children are off from school for a week from Monday February 14 and the weather forecast for this week looks to be hardly ideal.
Fortunately, Watford has had a bit of boom in recent months and we've got you covered with these 10 fun, family-friendly events in the town.
Puttshack
Opening just its fourth venue in the whole of England on December 1, this high-tech mini-golf venue is a hit with all of the ages.
Visitors can enjoy a range of crazy interactive courses with shots recorded electronically and even prizes up for grabs on certain holes.
Found on the ground floor of the atria Watford shopping centre, children are welcome, although the venue becomes strictly over-18 after 9pm.

Escape Hunt
Another of the relatively new additions to the atria Watford shopping centre extension is this escape room centre.
Packed with excitement, you and your teammates will leap into new worlds completing missions and working as a team to find clues, solve puzzles and complete challenges before the time runs out.

Ninja Warrior
This exciting venue at Woodside Leisure Park is based on the family entertainment show Ninja Warrior UK.
There are obstacles the whole family can enjoy whether you start as a Ninja in training, or you’re a bit more of a master.

Boom: Battle Bar
We're back at atria Watford's extension where another exciting venue has just recently opened.
Boom: Battle Bar has a range of exciting activities including electric darts and shuffleboard, and is the first site in the UK to house a BOOM Batting Cage.
Axe-throwing is strictly for over 18s and the venue only welcomes those over the age of 18 after 7pm.

Team Sport Karting
An industrial unit just outside Watford, in Greatham Road, Bushey, has been transformed into a 500 metre multi-level karting track, with plenty of hairpin turns and challenging ramps for racers to master.
The venue also includes a trackside bar and casual dining area where customers can enjoy a selection of food and refreshments. There is also a crazy golf course.

Rock-Up
This rock-climbing and adventure centre inside the atria Watford shopping centre has become a firm favourite in recent years.
It includes 27 climbing walls towering over eight metres with climbing sessions available for all ages, including toddlers.

The classic activity for the kids and it always promises bundles of fun and competition.
There's no shortage of options in Watford with venues at both atria Watford and Woodside Leisure Park. Both also come with a host of arcade games.

Warner Bros Studios Tour
For those huge fans of the wizarding world, we are incredibly lucky to have the home of Harry Potter and its iconic sets on our doorstep.
Brand new for 2022, Warner Bros Studios in Leavesden is revealing the filmmaking trickery behind the film series and shining a spotlight on magical pranks and mishaps in its new feature, Magical Mischief.

Glow-in-One
This has 14 illuminated holes in the underground basement of the Glow in One centre in The Parade in Watford, from a funky and urban layout to a glowing galactic course.
The family-run business opened for the first time in September.
