With the school summer holidays still in full swing we all need ideas to keep the kids entertained.

The great property has 124 excellent reviews on Trip Advisor from visitors and families. It offers lovely gardens with plenty of beautiful plants and flowers, an avery and fish pond. Visitors can also enjoy many paths to follow and explore the wooded area behind the open garden area.
Number 4 - Vicarage Road Stadium
Home of the Watford Football Club the stadium is a favourite with sports fans and supporters. It has 48 excellent Trip Advisor reviews with lots of fans and supporters recommending it to others looking to spend quality family time watching their favourite sport.
Number 5 - Watford Colosseum
Home of all things theatre and performance - it's a top favourite and great place to spend time with the family. With a huge variety of shows there's something for the whole family this year at the top arts venue in Watford. It's received 109 excellent reviews on Trip Advisor.
Number 6 - Oxhey Woods
With plenty of woodland and wildlife to discover Oxhey Woods makes for a great day out for the family and children. There's lots of fascinating wooden sculptures which are always a favourite with the children.

Number 7 - Intu Watford Who doesn't love retail therapy! With a shop for everyone the centre is a great day out, with everything you need including shopping, food outlets, cinema and the affordable car park is another draw.
Number 8 - Escape Hunt Watford This fab activity offers visitors five top escape rooms and VR experiences. Families just love working out the puzzles and it even works well as birthday party events too. The venue has been given 61 excellent reviews with lots of visitors recommending it to others.
Number 9 - D20 Board Game Cafe One of the more unusual businesses in the town - it offers great fun and food and drink too! Meet and play games with like minded people while enjoying tasty refreshments. With 73 excellent reviews on Trip Advisor the business is always a hit with families and gamers alike.
Number 10 - Topgolf Watford Whether you're a pro or a first timer Topgolf Watford offers great fun and or sports activities. The fun and games don’t stop there; you can even indulge in delicious food and drinks brought to you while you play.
