A booking app has launched for the paddling and splash pools in Cassiobury Park in Watford.
The town's mayor Peter Taylor announced the new booking system via his Twitter page, with the app being launched by Watford Borough Council and leisure operator Everyone Active.
Mr Taylor said that as of today (Monday, August 9), everyone can use the new online booking system to book their slot without having to queue up, and use the "fantastic" splash pools in the park.
Earlier this summer, there were some complaints from parents of long waiting times - and the council mentioned the idea of a new booking system.
Cassiobury Park Pools features 30 splash pads, water jets and fountains made for children to enjoy during the summer.
The splash park reopened in March and has attracted large crowds - particularly during hot, sunny weather.
Facilities at the pools include changing rooms and toilets nearby.
Every hour, the splash pools will be deep-cleaned for 30 minutes by staff.
The pools will be open from 10am to 6.30pm and will follow this schedule:
10:00 to 11:00 – open
11:00 to 11.30 – closed for deep clean
11.30 to 12.30 – open
