A parkrun spokesman said: "This coming Saturday morning, 5k parkrun events will return to more than 500 parks and open spaces across England. And on Sunday, 11-14 year olds can rejoin junior parkrun alongside 4-10 year olds, as officially recognised walkers, joggers and runners.
"The restart of 5k events in England marks a huge step forward for parkrun’s return to normality, with a large percentage of our events taking place there. But there’s huge progress across the rest of the home nations too."
