There have been a "high volume" of crashes reported to Hertfordshire Police as motorists struggle with the icy conditions.
Officers say there have been lots of "damage only road traffic collisions across the county" and urged people to report them online.
It comes as snow and ice wreak havoc with local travel, causing lengthy delays along with bus and rail cancellations.

There was a four-car crash on the M1 yesterday (December 13) between junctions 7 and 6A, near Hemel Hempstead.
No one was seriously injured but it caused long delays on the motorway that spilt over onto the A414 and A41 near Kings Langley.

A number of videos also went viral of drivers stuck on the M25 following a snow downfall on Sunday night and the early hours of Monday morning.
As of December 14, one of the videos has had 7.1 million views.
The video said: “Crazy snow on the M25! Where was the gritters?”
And between junctions 23 and 25 on the M25 there were delays of 90 minutes from about 6.30am on December 12, due to heavy snowfall.
