“Nightmare” school parking has caused “shouting, swearing, and people nearly run over” during clashes between parents and neighbours.
A Lebanon Close resident posted a picture online of cars parked on pavement by parents dropping kids off at Holy Rood School, around the corner in Greenbank Road.
Others shared similar photos and branded the situation a “nightmare for years”, with some adding they “dread” returning home in school time after multiple confrontations.

Another Lebanon Close resident said "I've been sworn at, shouted at, and have nearly run over parents as they walk out in front of my car."
Dave Pearce, who posted one of the photos, said: “We've lived here for over 30 years and it's been going on for quite some time.
“I appreciate there's no simple answer but it's a complete display of laziness, ignorance, and a 'can't be bothered' attitude by those that do it.
“I would guarantee that if anything ever happened to a child whilst walking in the road, these drivers would be the first to state their outrage.”
Head teacher Emma Braund said: “Whilst parking choices are beyond our direct control, we do always ask that every visitor to our school parks respectfully and legally.
“We have also encouraged our families to walk, scoot and cycle whenever possible to school, even if that is only for the last part of a journey.”
County councillor Mark Watkin, who represents the Nascot ward, said: “The pressures created by parents parking illegally near Holy Rood have been an issue for many years because they travel further to have their children educated in an outstanding faith school.
“To address these the council has introduced a network of double and yellow lines around the school.
“Nonetheless at the start of each autumn term, the situation deteriorates with the arrival of new parents who do not take notice of the restrictions in the area.”
Cllr Watkin, speaking on behalf of the ward members, added they will arrange for Mrs Braund to take the matter up with parents and encourage the parking team to increase patrols.
Police will also be asked to enforce any blocking of the highway or people’s drives.
