A man is due in due in court over allegedly impersonating dozens of learner drivers taking their theory tests.
Simarjit Singh, 24, is charged with possession of an article for use in fraud and fraud by false representation across the country, between 2019 and 2021.
In Watford, on August 6, 2020, he allegedly had another person’s provisional licence and impersonated that person who “was required to submit themselves to a driving theory test in order to obtain a licence authorising the driving of motor vehicles”.

According to court papers Singh, of Burnet Close, Leicester, is alleged to have committed the fraud “intending to make a gain” for himself.
The DVSA was the informant in the case.
He is also accused of fraud in Swindon, Uxbridge, Shrewsbury, Coventry, Dudley, Northampton, Swindon, Birmingham, Southwark, Grimsby, Aldershot, Nottingham, Wolverhampton, Rhyl, Oldham, Coventry, Stratford-upon-Avon, Stevenage, Worcester, Dudley and Stevenage.
He is due to appear in Worcester Magistrates Court tomorrow (October 21) to make a plea.
