A man has been caught on CCTV casually stealing a car part before nonchalantly strolling off.
Police have confirmed that the front tow hook cover was removed from a Vauxhall Zafira in Field Road, Watford, at 1.05am on Monday, October 10.
When the owner posted about the theft online, a man responded saying the exact same thing happened to him the next night, with the same part stolen from the same make of car in Aldenham Road.
Police have not been able to confirm the second theft was reported.
In the camera footage a man can be seen casually walking in the road before bending over to remove the cover and walking off.

Last month a thief was caught on CCTV in a similar situation strolling up to a parked BMW and ripping off its wingmirror cover.
On that occasion the thief, clearly a different person, was with two others in Harwoods Road at around 9.43pm on September 25.
