Police were called to reports that a blue Ford van had driven into the window.
Photos seen by the Watford Observer show some fragments of glass still attached to the right-hand pane, but the rest lying on the floor and scattered some way into the shop.
Parts of the window display were left hanging above pools of shattered glass, which appeared to have fallen into chairs inside the business.
No injuries were reported.
