An e-scooter rider had a near miss when he ploughed straight into a moving car.
Dash-cam footage has emerged of an e-scooter rider heading straight into a car as he went to cross Longsprings while riding on the pavement in Leavesden Road.
The rider didn't look before crossing and was very fortunate to drive into a car rather than the other way round.

In the video, recorded by the dash-cam of a car by waiting at the junction, there does not appear to be any serious damage or injury.
However, he did have to leap from his scooter as it went into the car.
Electric scooters are motor vehicles but are not legal for road use and therefore cannot be insured.
