A road has been flooded with a "river" of water this morning after a water main burst in Potters Bar.
Hertfordshire County Council reported the flooding at around 7.30am and Darkes Lane, between Mutton Lane and The Walk, was closed by Herts Police.
Footage has emerged on Facebook of a car as it was being rescued after being trapped in the flooding under a railway bridge.

Hertfordshire County Council has said the flooding occurred due to a burst water main.
A woman at the scene said on Facebook: “Our main Potters Bar thoroughfare has a river running through it!”
Police are advising motorists to avoid the road and find an alternative route.
