The Easter weekend is set to be a very busy period, not just on the motorways, but roads in general.
In Watford there are a couple of road closures taking place that you might want to be aware of if you are set to be driving.
If you are set to be travelling along these areas, it's best to take note of different diversions in place.
Here’s a list of all of the closures from Friday, April 15 to Monday, April 18 according to the Hertfordshire County Council website.
Watford road closures on Friday, April 15
Until Monday, April 18 a section of the A4178 Wiggenhall Road is shut from 8pm to 5am every day.
This piece of road begins north of Oxhey Road and continues until just before Cardiff Road.

Until Monday, April 18 a section of the A4178 Wiggenhall Road is shut from 8pm to 5am every day.

Watford road closures on Monday, April 18
Part of the road on Wellstones near Market Street will be shut from Monday, April 18 to Friday, April 22 due to roadworks.
Additionally, the Charter Place Bus lane will be shut from 9pm to 4am on Monday, April 18, with that same time period of closure continuing on the proceeding days until Wednesday, March 20.
