Watford's young striker Ogo Obi - who spent time this summer on trial at Manchester United - has today signed his first professional contract with the Hornets.
Obi has this afternoon penned a two-year scholarship with the Golden Boys and the agreement has a third year as a professional attached.
The 16-year-old has been with the Hornets since the under-11 age group but had initially been reluctant to accept the club's offer due to interest from other clubs.
Ten goals in five matches at the 2013 Milk Cup resulted in Golden Boot winner Obi being linked with a move to Arsenal and Liverpool by one national newspaper.
The striker from Barnet again impressed at the tournament this summer as he scored three goals in four matches to help Manchester United lift the Milk Cup Premier title whilst on trial.
But the Red Devils seemingly decided against offering him a deal and Obi has now signed with the Hertfordshire club.
