Liam Henderson’s loan spell at Rotherham United has been extended until the end of the season.
The Watford striker has made four starts and one substitute appearance since joining Rotherham on loan in February.
Hornets manager Malky Mackay said: “It is very good news. We feel that he has been doing well there and they asked if he can stay so it is good for Liam.”
The Watford Academy graduate has yet to score a goal in the Football League in 45 appearances, although only eight of those were starts.
This is Henderson’s fifth time away from Watford after loan spells at non-league Wealdstone, Hartlepool United, Colchester United and Aldershot Town.
Henderson will need to impress at Rotherham as his contract with Watford runs out in the summer, although the club do have the option of extending it by another year.
