Ryan Noble's brief spell at Watford has ended prematurely after the young striker returned to Sunderland after failing to make an appearance for the Hornets.
Noble had joined Watford on loan until the end of the season on March 25 but Sunderland have confirmed the 18-year-old's time with the Hertfordshire club has ended.
The striker is highly rated and he had scored 36 goals for Sunderland Reserves and Academy already this campaign before joining Watford.
It is unclear why Noble's loan has ended prematurely. Sunderland have confirmed his return but there is still no word from Watford.
