TWO potential headaches for Ray Lewington have been averted after the loans of Paul Jones and Johnnie Jackson at Watford were extended.
Welsh international keeper Jones will be available to the Hornets until after the Ipswich Town game on February 22, while Richard Lee continues his recovery from a fractured cheekbone.
Jackson last week opted to return to Spurs when the Watford boss told the young midfielder he couldn't be guaranteed a place in the starting line-up, but the injury sustained by Brynjar Gunnarsson at Wigan has changed the situation significantly and the 22-year-old has returned to Vicarage Road on a one-month loan extension.
For all the latest from Vicarage Road, don't miss this week's edition of the Watford Observer.
