Watford will make late decisions on team selection ahead of the top-of-the-table clash with Norwich City tomorrow evening.

The Hornets are hoping to get their promotion bid back on track after a very disappointing defeat away to Luton on Saturday.

But boss Xisco Munoz is waiting on the fitness of some key players, with some defensive problems also to fix for the trip to Carrow Road.

Kiko Femenia is out after his sending-off at Luton and Jeremy Ngakia is a doubt after picking up a minor knock in training last week.

Marc Navarro could be drafted in to play right-back. The Spaniard has completed 90 minutes just once this season, against QPR on February 1.

There are problems at left-back too, with Adam Masina possibly out again with a hip injury.

Ashraf Lazaar could deputise again but it was his backpass that led to Luton grabbing their winner from the penalty spot.

Midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah, who missed the weekend clash, is also still a doubt with an Achilles injury but Watford say a late decision will be made on him along with Masina and Ngakia.

Troy Deeney and Tom Dele-Bashiru (ACL) continue their rehabilitations from long-term injuries.

Watford are looking to win four consecutive league games against Norwich for the first time and face a Canaries side which has already wrapped up promotion to the Premier League.

Manager Daniel Farke is waiting on the fitness of top goalscorer Teemu Pukki (knee), midfielder Todd Cantwell (hip), and centre-back Grant Hanley (ankle).

Ben Gibson and Lukas Rupp are injured for the rest of the season while left-back Dimitris Giannoulis is suspended.

The Hornets can go within five points of Norwich if they win the 6pm kick-off, with three games left to play.

But more importantly, Watford will be hoping a victory can pull them clear of Swansea and Brentford, both of which still have aspirations of automatic promotion.

Brentford are in action at home to Cardiff, while Swansea welcome QPR to south Wales.

Ahead of the game at Carrow Road, head coach Munoz said: "We will play against the best team in the Championship. They have very good players and it will be a perfect game for us. We will need a good performance and with the same style and work we have shown before.

"I also want to say congratulations to Norwich as I know how difficult it is to do what they have done. They have worked so hard and I wish them all the best...after our game of course."

Following the derby defeat, Munoz called for "togetherness".

He said: "It was not our best performance and we know about this," said Munoz. "It's important that we need to stay together. Now is the moment we need to stay together, everyone, and now is important everyone puts more passion into our club.

"It's my job to try to get everyone one step in front. My team tried to give their best today. We know today is a very difficult game because we have a different situation and it was not our best performance.

"Now we prepare the maximum for the next game because it's important."
