Former Watford Under-23 defender Brandon Mason has joined Coventry City.
The left-back, who was released at the end of last season, has signed a two-year deal with the Sky Blues after impressing boss Mark Robins during a trial this week.
Robins told the club website: “Brandon was someone who we identified through our recruitment process, and then impressed us on trial during the first week of pre-season training.
“He is a young player with a lot of potential, while having an excellent grounding at Watford and experience in the Premier League. Brandon likes to get forward as well as being strong defensively, and we are very pleased to have agreed to sign him.”
The Watford Academy graduate made four first-team appearances at Vicarage Road, including one top-flight start, but was limited to just two appearances during a loan stay at Dundee United last season.
