Sebastian Prodl was named Watford's player of the season at the club's end-of-season awards evening at Wembley Stadium last night.
The towering Austrian, who has been a mainstay at the heart of the Hornets' defence throughout this campaign, triumphed narrowly over Heurelho Gomes in the public vote.
Prodl made 32 starts in the Premier League this season, 13 more than he had made during his debut year in England under Quique Sanchez Flores.
Prodl became the club's first winner of the award since it was renamed in honour of Watford legend Graham Taylor, and was presented it by the father of Hornets fan Ossie Robinson, who passed away earlier this month.
Elsewhere, Roberto Pereyra's wonderstrike against Leicester in November was named the club's goal of the season, while number one Heurelho Gomes picked up the players' player gong.
