Watford have agreed to sign young Colombian defender Jorge Segura, the youngster has claimed to a radio station in his home country.
A 20-year-old Envigado centre-back told Blu Radio earlier today he will join the Hornets at the end of the season.
Segura made his debut for Envigado, who finished 13th in last season's Colombian First Division, in March 2016 and has since made 22 starts for the club, scoring twice.
He also played four games for the Colombian Under-20 side at this month's South American Under-20 championships - although they finished bottom of their six-team group.
If Segura does sign, recent precedent involving younger signings at Vicarage Road suggests he could spend next season away from Hertfordshire.
Both Adalberto Penaranda and Abdoulaye Doucoure are both examples of players who have been loaned out to other clubs owned by the Pozzo family.
