A last-minute injury to Vincent Kompany saw Watford's Christian Kabasele make his Belgium debut last night, as they played out a 1-1 draw with Holland in Amsterdam.
25-year-old Kabasele played the full 90 minutes of the friendly at Ajax's homeground after injury-troubled Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany was withdrawn during the warm-up as a precaution.
The Hornets man was blameless as the visitors went behind to Davy Klaassen's first-half penalty, given away by Jan Vertonghen shortly before the interval.
Eight minutes from time, the Red Devils levelled through Atletico Madrid midfielder Yannick Carrasco to earn a share of the spoils.
Steven Berghuis, on loan at Feyenoord, was named on the Netherlands' bench, but did not feature.
